The age-group of pike-perch have been studied, forming a population of these species in the Kakhovka reservoir. The aim of researches is determination and estimation of basic parameters, characterizing biological state and importance, of pike-perch in the ecosystem. Employed accepted methods, and also own methods. The data in relation to biological state of population pike-perch have been got. Measures for provide favorable conditions of forming propagate and fishing kernel of the population have been proposed.
