Kozodoy L. Constitutional and legal status of subjects of electoral process in Ukraine.

This thesis is devoted to a study of constitutional and legal status of subjects of electoral process in Ukraine. In this work own definition of notion of subject of electoral process and its features are formulated. On the grounds of different criteria and characteristics, classification of subjects of electoral process has been offered, elements of constitutional and legal status of subjects of electoral process in Ukraine have been substantiated. Here also individual and collective subjects of electoral process, realizing their voting right and stated positions, promoting to a further improvement of their constitutional and legal status, have been characterized. Status of a group of subjects, providing realization by the subjects of electoral process of active and passive voting right, has been explored. Constitutional principles of voting right and a necessity of their observance by the subjects of electoral process, are analysed. System of guarantees, that create favourable conditions and provideactual realization by the subjects of electoral process of their rights have been defined and characterized. Responsibility of subjects of electoral process and its features and forms of realization have been investigated. A line of measures, promoting to the improvement of constitutional and legal status of subjects of electoral process in Ukraine, is recommended.
