Essay

Dissertation is dedicated to the question about usage of fotomodified xenografts in complex treatment of burn patients. In the experiment on animals effectiveness of usage of liophilized and fotomodified xenografts for temporal covering of IIIB-IV stage burns comparing with traditional local treatment was studied. Usage of fotomodified xenografts activates regeneration and leads to decreasing of deep wounds due to the marginal and island epithelization during 3 weeks for 28 %, in the same time, in case of usage of fotomodified xenografts decreases area of the wound for 22%. Usage of fotomodified xenografts improves symptoms of burn disease, activate regeneration processes, decreases duration of hospitalizing of patients with lesion severity index less than 30 units on 11,4 days, patients with lesion severity index more than 30 units on 24,9 days comparing with traditional treatment and on 3,4 days and 7 days comparing with patients, treated with usage of liophilized xenografts.
