Essay

This thesis examines the phenomenon of musical chronotop and suggests the systematization of the vanguard musical art’s phenomena on the basis of their musical chronotops. The methodology of time-space analysis relations in the piece of music is developed; the determination of the term “musical chronotop” is given, its stylistic indexes are defined, the typology of musical chronotops in the vanguard style is created, the features of functioning of musical chronotop in the individual styles of vanguard composers as well as in the styles of separate pieces of music are examined.
