The study of Mykhajlo Kotsyubynskyj-prosaist associationally - imagery thinking in the husis gives an apportunity to trace the psychologically - atsthetic mechanism of the fiction thought formation. The character of fictional associations is analysed on three levels: in the light of inner structure of tropes prism; complex figurative paradigms (sceneries, images, things, emotions, and figurative concepts); integrity of short - story structures ("The apple-tree's blossom", "Unknown", "Intermezzo"), created according to associational composition principles.
