Afanasyev V. Security institutionalization in the Black Sea region (1992-2005 years)

An object is – the general process of security institutionalization in the Black sea region. Research methods – the methods of comparatively-historical analysis, quasi-expert questioning, and frequency analysis are used. Novelty – prognoses are done concerning development of relations of Ukraine and Russia on the problem of the Black Sea fleet. An author exposes contradictory character of intergovernmental associations institutionalization in the Black Sea region. GUAM examines the existence, as potential alternative to the «Russian club of influencing» in the CIS. Purview are can be drawn – on research results as recommendation in process of intergovernmental commissions activity, intergovernmental regional organizations, commissions are Ukraine-NATO.
