Essay

The author’s structure functional model of self-appraisal of creative abilities reflects the mechanisms of self-appraisal development dependent on the peculiarities of abilities development in activities with different developing-creative potential. In contrast to traditional teaching, developing teaching and group studies contribute much to creative abilities development and accordingly to their self-appraisal. On the other hand, stimulation of the self-appraisal development by means of reflexion and social recognition of the achievements can contribute to the development of creative abilities. Subjectively-evaluative level of self-appraisal, which includes social, activity, developmental, creative and value-regulative components, is the condition of self-development of creative abilities.
