Siruk O. Thesaurus of Ukrainian Verbs: Linguistic Problems and Principles of Composition

The primary objective of the thesis is the development of a formalized method of conclusion of the Computer Thesaurus (CТ) of Ukrainian Verbs and its approbation based on the material of verbs of the speech semantic field. The block of analysis, or a conclusion of database of the CT of verbs, consists in the selection of methods to analyze units, the establishment of relations between units (hyponymy, synonymy, antonymy, derivative and others), algorithmic construction of the analysis of material and testing of the method on verbs of other semantic field. The block of synthesis consists in realization of such tasks as formation of macrostructure of the dictionary (construction of synoptic scheme of thesaurus, planning of the entrances in the CT), determination of the microstructure of thesaurus (development of a vocabulary article, determination of the structure of interverbal relations) and integration of the verbal part of CТ in the Computer Thesaurus of the Ukrainian language. An experimental blockis dedicated to the comparative analysis of texts by L.Kostenko and V.Stus by the thesaurus speech semantic field.
