Essay

New data on the peculiarities and appropriatenesses of the forming and removal of the toxic chlororganic compounds (COCs) in the processes of water preparation have been obtained. The COC's monitoring at the waterworks of Ukraine has been introduced. It allowed to determine a level of the contamination by these chlorinated drinking water substances, a possible risk of the oncologic diseases from the use of such a water and to propose the preventive measures for the unhealthy effect of the COCs on the population health.
