The object is the prose by Y.Mushketick. The aims are to find - out and to analyze the concept of national selfacknowledgement in historical prose by Y.Mushketick. The methods are historical and typological, analytical, comparative-historical, hermeneutic. The main factors of national Ukrainian selfacknowledgement formation are determined and the changes of national selfacknowledgement in the Ukrainian philosophy and literature and its development in historical prose by Y.Mushketick are studied. Sphere of use is the training courses.
