Mykhajlova T. Hygienic evaluation of the dust factor in refractory products' manufacture, prevention of its harmfull action

Object - workplaces of the basic occupational groups at the typical undertakings on refractory products' manufacture; air of a working zone; registrative-statistical forms under the account of morbidity. The purpose - definition of laws of the dust factor' influence of refractory products' manufacture on workers, development of actions on preventive maintenance of its negative effect. Methods - hygienic; sanitary-statistical; medical-sociological; medical-statistical. Results - the complex hygienic estimation of working conditions at the modern undertakings on refractory products' manufacture was carried out; the system of actions on preventive maintenance of negative effect of a dust was developed. Novelty - the importance of the dust-radioactive factor in refractory products' manufacture as physical and chemical parameter of a dust was considered; it was established the radiative risk caused by the dust-radioactive factor less than nonradiative risk caused by the fibrogenic action of a dust; it was shown that in urban places with the town-formed undertakings, the basic contribution in the general morbidity of adult population was brought by workers of these factories. The system of preventive measures was introduced at 5 undertakings on refractory products' manufacture of Donetsk area. It was optimized working conditions; results of work were put in a basis of the state sanitary inspection' normative-methodical documents. Branch - medicine (labour hygiene).
