Dyyak E. The structural-semantic organization of word-formative jacks with roots on a designation of metals

The dissertation analyses the formal and semantic structure of word-formative jacks, the tops of which are the nouns – the names of metals in the modern Ukrainian language. It is characterised the structural-semantic relations between the top and the units of word-formative paradigms, interrelations of derivatives in word-formative chains. It is also defined the types of word-formative meanings for derivatives of substantive, adjective, verbal and adverbial blocks, the degrees of root productivity in indicating of metals. The comparative analysis of the qualitative and quantitative filling of word-formative jacks with tops – the names of metals are carried out and the common and different indicators in their structure system and semantic organization are dicovered.
