Processes of planning of effective production and economic activities of the enterprises in modern conditions. Scientific generalization of theoretical and methodical aspects of strategic planning of the enterprises activity and a substantiation of practical recommendations for its realization. The general scientific and special methods: historical and logic, abstraction, analogies, the statistical analysis for the system decision of problem tasks concerning the chosen direction of research. The technique of definition of preconditions for strategic planning activity meat processing plants is developed. The technique of strategic planning of activity meat processing plants is offered. The system of the purposes and parameters of strategic planning is adapted. The complex system of parameters on the basis of which development of the strategic budget meat processing plants should be carried out is generated. The methodical, organizational recommendations concerning introduction of the complex mechanismof strengthening competitive positions of local commodity producers are used.
