Essay

The thesis is devoted to single crystal layers fabrication technology by liquid phase epitaxy method. The attention is focused on the Y3Al5O12 and Gd3Ga5O12 films doped with Cr4+, which grown on the (100)-oriented Y3Al5O12:Nd and (111)-oriented Gd3Ga5O12:Nd substrates, respectively. In addition, a fabrication technology of the Y3Al5O12 single crystal layers activated by Yb3+ as active medium of power disk lasers is described.
