Object of the research: epidemic process, pneumocystis infection of sicks with HIV-infection/AIDS and the unspecific diseases of lungs and medical workers. The purpose of the research: to establish epidemiological particularities of pneumocystosis among sicks with HIV-infection/AIDS and among patients with the unspecific diseases of lungs, to make measures for its diagnostics and its preventive maintenance. Methods of the research: epidemiological, microbiological, molecular-biological, statistical. The study of the epidemiological particularities of pneumocystosis among sicks with HIV-infection/AIDS and patients with the unspecific diseases of lungs is organized for the first time in Ukraine. It is established levels of pneumocystis infection of these contingents. Different factors are studied, they promote to pneumocystis infection and the groups of increased risk of infection by incitant of pneumocystosis. Actions of the diagnostics and preventive maintenances among sicks with HIV-infection/AIDS andamong patients with the unspecific diseases of lungs are justified. The possibility of realization of two ways of issues of pneumocystis - through the blood and through the air - amongst injectiony drug addicts is established. It is proposed the microscopic method of detection P. carinii in the biological sustrata. The possibility of infection by pneumocystis in hospitals where there are patients with HIV/AIDS and the unspecific diseases of lungs is established. The actions, directed on warning of the issue of the incitant in branches of the AIDS Disease and pulmonary establishments, are advanced. Sphere application: Medecine, epidemiology.
