Subject of research: the process of strategic management of industrial enterprise development; research objective: improvement of theoretical basics of forming and developing methodical provision as to the forming and choosing foreign economic strategies of the industrial enterprise development under current conditions; research methodology and applications: system approach, regression analysis, correlation analysis, statistic analysis, questionnaire survey, expert evaluation, graphical method; theoretical and practical results: the concept and principles of forming foreign economic strategies of enterprise development which take into account the impact of all – level factors: global, macro-, meso- and microlevels of enterprise activities were improved; basis foreign economic strategies of enterprise development characterizining specifics of its internal activities were improved; the technologies of forming and choosing foreign economic strategies of enterprise development considering indicators of internal environment (strategic potential), hierarchy of strategies reflecting management levels at the enterprise as well as all – level factors of its external environment were further developed; a methodological approach to the strategic potential and external environment potential evaluation was further developed; the technologies of choosing foreign economic strategies of enterprise development based on quantitative evaluation of strategical potential and external environment potential as well as particular level of strategy hierarchy with priorities of enterprise management were further developed; a methodological approach to the expert evaluation enterprise strategic potential of the enterprise based on SWOT – analysis was further developed; object – matter and implementation range: devised methods were implemented into practical activities of the following industrial enterprises: OJSC “Motor-Sich”, OJSC “Ivchenko-Progress”, SOE “KMBE FED”.
