Essay

The object of research: processes of press forming of wheel blanks with preliminary moulding of a ripple before rolling and rolling of wheels . The purpose of research: perfecting of calibrations computer designing methods and development of a new wheels' by a diameter of 957 mm press forming and rolling technology, permitting to lower metal rate and reject on a lap on rolling and omission of a ripple at the expense of usage of blanks, precise on a mass, and preliminary moulding of a ripple before rolling. The development of mathematical model of press formings process is realized on a base of methods of recognized schedule experiment and finite elements with usage of modern complexes of computer programs. The perfecting of computational methods of a resistance of metal to deformation is fulfilled analytically. The experimental data are obtained on a base of industrial research. The mathematical model of a wheel blanks' press forming process that includes the formulas of metal forming account, position of neutral line concerning which one the metal flows in zones of rim and nave, and of press forming forces applies as wheel blanks whith ripple with fractionally prepeared by a rim and nave by a diameter of 957 mm press forming and rolling new technology is designed. The computer designing methods of calibrations for press forming and rolling of wheels are improved. The new technology of press forming and rollings of wheels by a diameter of 957 mm designed, which one is transmit to "Vyksunsky Metallurgical Plant". Orb of usage: production of railway wheels.
