The object of the investigation is the process of investment use and attraction in the Zhytomyr oblast agrarian sector. The main problem of the thesis is methodological and practical basis of the investment activities generalization and development, regional strategy of the agrarian sector investment development. Methodological and theoretical basis of the investigation is dialectical method of cognition, systematic approach to the investment process studying that takes part in the region's agrarian sector, scientific work of foreign and Ukrainian economists, Ukrainian legislative and normative acts as to the investment activity. Methods: cognition dialectical, scientific abstract, inductive method, statistical and economical methods of: grouping, comparison, graphic, synthesis and analysis, economical and mathematical, sociometrical inquiry, experts appraisal, settlement-constructive, standardization, comparison, abstract and logic. Theoretical results assist to the cognition apparatus and scientificapproach to the regional investment strategy formation and realization, methodological aspects knowledge aspects extention, the investment activity of the regions agrarian sector improvement promotion. The scientific novelty of the thesis results are the following the conceptual strategy of the regional agrarian sector investment activity was developed for the first time, that substantiates its aim, principles, problems and succession formation and realization, means and practical measures elaboration. It was determined the cognition apparatus of the investment activity, that takes into account the agrarian sector peculiarities. The author developed classification features of investment activities systematization that makes possible to study theoretical and practical basis of the agrarian sector activities; Introduction degree: the results of the investigation were practically used by the Economic Headquarters and the Agroindustrial development of the Zhytomyr state administration, Economic Policy Departmentoblast and Municipal Rada deputies, the Zhytomyr State Headquarters Agroecological University. Efficiency: the thesis formulates the main propositions and developes the system of the organizational and economic measures for improving the investment activities in the region's agrarian sector.
