The problems of production efficiency and grain crops marketing under conditions of market transformations are considered in this paper. Efficiency essence, as an economy category, is are investigated. The tendencies of grain branch development are revealed. Effective costs level and efficiency for grain production and marketing are grounded. The scheme of regional grain market infrastructure is suggested.
