Object: process of application of the economic information in system of planning of economic activities at the enterprises of mechanical engineering. The purpose: a theoretical substantiation and development of methodical positions on influence of the economic information on development of activity of the enterprises of mechanical engineering. Methods: abstract - theoretical, dialectic, the analysis, synthesis, a method of comparative estimations of statistical given, state and scientific sources. For the first time on the basis of the system approach the place of occurrence of the operative information at the enterprise of mechanical engineering is determined and introduction of additional document circulation and information audit for transformation of the received data to the economic information that allows to increase efficiency of acceptance of administrative decisions is recommended. It is adapted to application the formula of the coordination of parameters of the financial plan with the plannedvolume of tax loading that allows to create additional conditions for use of internal reserves of economy of financial resources. It is advanced methodical receptions of gathering of the information in places of its occurrence and a technique of definition of influence of the external and internal environment on increase of profitability of activity of the enterprise.
