Kovtyn A. Innovation Processes in the Ukrainian Church-Religious Lexicon (on the basis of the belles-lettres prose of the ХХ century).

The dissertation deals with a research of semantic peculiarities of the Ukrainian church-religious lexicon in belles-lettres speech. The analysis is carried out on the basis of the Ukrainian belles-lettres prose of the ХХ century; the basic attention is drawn to laws of adaptation of the names from church-religious sphere in the belles-lettres style in conditions of the state tabooing of religious culture in Ukraine. It is proved, that the church-religious lexicon, despite of powerful influence of the above-mentioned extralinguistic factors, functioned actively, enriching belles-lettres speech by expressive means. The work touches upon correlation of traditional and non-traditional actualisations of the church-religious lexemes: traditional usually preserve a conceptual-emotional nucleus of the lexeme, as well as the part of non-traditional, new associative-positive shades occur is them; real innovation processes are connected with the actualisation of the peripheral negative semes, which neutralize sacral character of the analysed group of the lexicon and use the mock-satirical function more often.
