Shevchenko I. System modeling of dwelling environment for its quality evaluation

Object-dwelling environment; Target - improvement of the methods for evaluating the quality of the dwelling environment, based on the systems approach of quality with the use of logical inference to ensure the adequacy of the decisions taken; methods are based on the general theory of systems, understanding of architectural objects as complex environmental systems “population-environment"; novelty - the development of the systematic model of decision-making for the study and evaluation of the quality of the dwelling environment, for the first time formalization of pivotal of the dwelling environment is performed, as well as the quality categories, methodology for the assessment of the quality of the dwelling environment using the proposed mathematical model is developed, software application for the assessment of the quality of the dwelling environment was developed; results - new effective approach in the evaluation of the quality of dwelling environment based on the use of modern information technology is proposed. Information model for assessment of the quality of the dwelling environment is proposed. Software application “Quality” is created based on the information model. It has been demonstrated how the proposed model can be used to determine the dominant characteristics of the objects of dwelling environment and to adjust designs of such objects in order to improve their quality; degree of implementation - implemented into architectural practice; application field – architectural design.
