Theoretical and methodological conceptions of determination in essence of economic categories are explored competition and competitiveness. The exposed features of display of these categories on the enterprises of Ukraine, that knitting products are produced by using tolling agreements. The necessity is well-founded of perfection of methods of estimation of competitiveness of enterprises-producers of knitting products. The offered method, that enables to carry out estimation of competitiveness of enterprises as at the separate market of their activity so integral estimation. The explored tendencies of development of market world of knitting clothes, knitting raw material and market from the grant of tolling, a place is definite at the indicated market of knitting industry of Ukraine and enterprises, level of their competitiveness. The argued necessity of perfection of organizational forms of enterprises-producers of knitting products. The developed organizational-economic bases, in which new principlesof forming of competition strategy of the Ukrainian enterprises-producers of knitting products laid out.
