Essay

Studying the characteristics of the clinical course, the state of the indices of immune status in patients with Multiple sclerosis (MS) in case of herpesviral persistence (HVP) as well as treating such patients have been summarized and extended in the research work.It has been detected that the clinical characteristics and changes in cytotoxic immunity in patients with MS depend on the activity of HVP. The activity of HVP in patients with MS is studied to effect the degree of neurologic deficiency.The complex of antiviral therapy for patients with MS with active HVP which favours the disease course has been suggested. The advisability and efficiency of applying antihomotoxic preparations to treat patients with MS in case of persistence of herpesviral infection without its activation signs have been proved.
