Yemelyanova I. Pharmacognostic study of Grindelia squarrosa

The Thesis is devoted to the complex pharmaceutical study of the BAS of Grindelia squarrosa grass has been carried out for the first time. Nine amino acids, 6 monosugars in the composition of polysaccharide complex, 3 free monosaccharides, 3 monosaccharides in the composition of glycosides, 3 hydroxycinnamic acids, 28 microelements, 16 fatty acids, 7 free organic acids, 1 coumarin, 6 flavonoids, 92 components of the essential oil have been identified. The quantitative content of main BAS, 28 macro- and microelements has been determined. The numeric indexes of grindelia squarrosa grass have been determined. For the first time the research of dynamics of the BAS has been conducted. The morphologic, anatomic and histochemical study of the above-ground part of grindelia squarrosa grass has been conducted. The basic diagnostic features of grindelia squarrosa grass have been revealed. The technology for obtaining the lyphilic and phenolic extracts of grindelia has been developed. A marked antimicrobial andreparative activity of lypophilic extract has been determined. The composition of the ointment with the lypophilic extract of grindelia squarrosa has been developed. An anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic, anti-ulcerative and diuretic actions of the phenolic extract have been studied
