In the dissertation the of an estimation of index of the geographical risk of export and import of the agricultural and food products that gives an opportunity to define the most risky products on export and import is developed; the complex methodology on formation of perspective commodity structure of export which includes the rating-economic approach, the index of comparative advantages, definition of expediency of export of the certain kinds of production and warranting of food safety of the country is offered; specified: methodical approaches of an estimation of state and efficiency of foreign economic activity of agro-industrial complex; essence of economic categories "geographical diversification of export (import)", "export potential" and "mechanisms of functioning of foreign economic activity of agro-industrial complex"; factors of competitiveness and competitive advantages of agro-industrial complex of Ukraine; further development was got: methodology of forecasting of foreign economic activity of agro-industrial complex in view of external and internal risks of functioning of the agricultural enterprises; methodology of definition of macroenvironment and microenvironment major factors influence on volume of export domestic agricultural and food products which is based on four-level model of influence of external factors; mechanisms of adaptation and an estimation of domestic practice of functioning of foreign economic activity of agro-industrial complex in view of foreign experience.
