Subject of Inquiry - wind resources of the Arabian Peninsula. Objective of the Study - spatio-temporal wind velocity distribution and the statistical performance near the Earth's surface and at the level of a wind-gauge. Research Methods - selection of wind parameters for every node of the net, methods of statistical analysis and integration of data, the method which is based on the use of the Monin-Obukhov similarity theory. Theoretical Results and Practical Outcomes - guidelines on wind-driven powerplant siting. Novelty - estimation of wind resources, formulation of a partition law for wind velocity, finding probabilistic characteristics for wind velocity of above and below the commanded level. Extent of Introduction - Have been introduced at the scientific centre of the National University of Adeppa. Applicability - charts of wind mean velocities and probability of the commanded levels could be put to use for scientific and academic purposes at studying natural resources of the Arabian Peninsula.
