The political activity of all spectrums of youth unofficial associations of the period of 1953-1991 in Ukraine is investigated in the dissertation. Some theoretical and conceptual problems of research are opened: the concept "unofficial youth association" and "politization of unofficial associations" is specified, the maintenance and essence of a phenomenon of "youth subcultural opposition" in a context of political science is determined.
