Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problems concerned with the increase in exploitation durability of sewerage pipelines man-holes. Scientifically grounded technological and organizational solutions to repair and restoration works in man-holes by using reinforced cast slag constructions hove been worked out. The factors that influence the man-holes durability have been examined. The processes causing concrete corrosion of shaft walls have been examined. Recommendations on decreasing of gas corrosion influence have been given. The materials and constructions used for this purpose both in Ukraine and other countries have been investigated. The adhesive strength of the cast slag constructions and heave concrete has been investigated. The technological and organizational solutions to repair and restoration work of man holes by using reinforced cast slag panels have been worked out and introduced in one of the beep-set shafts of Kharkov sewerage network.
