Essay

On the base of complex investigation the peculiarities of cerebral hemodynamics, brain structural changes depending on 24-hour blood pressure rhythm in patients with dyscirculatory hypertensive encephalopathy were studied. It was discovered that 24-hour blood pressure rhythm disturbances were associated with brain structural changes and cerebral blood flow disturbances. The peculiarities of central hemodynamics and myocardium remodelling in patients with dyscirculatory encephalopathy were studied. Relationship between brain structural changes (according to computer tomography) and myocardium structural changes were investigated. The efficiency of antihypertensive drugs: beta-blocker betaxolol and carvedilol, angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors spirapril and fosinopril for correction of discovered disturbances of cerebral hemodynamics in the group of investigated patients was appraised.
