Pedagogical technology of formation of musical perception of students of the higher art educational institutions by means of sacred music has been developed and proved in the Dissertation. The matter and structure of musical perception has been shown, its role in teaching and educational work has been defined. A complex of means of sacred music has been theoretically developed and systematized. Criteria, parameters and levels of formation of musical perception of students have been established. Pedagogical technology of formation of musical perception of students by means of sacred music has been introduced in practice of the higher art educational institutions and its efficiency and advisability has been defined. Methodical recommendations on the problem of formation of musical perception of students by means of sacred music has been developed.
