Gyrka A. Winter grain yield and quality formation depending on fertilizing and means of protection in the Northern Steppe zone of Ukraine

Object - Process of yield and grain quality formation by the different varieties of winter wheat under influence of mineral nutrition and means of plant protection from pests and diseases. The purpose - is to optimize and recommend for agriculture the new more perfective measures of winter wheat grain yield increasing and quality improvement based on differential use of nitrogen nutrition and means of plant protection from pests and diseases. Methods: field and laboratory-field experiences. Results: It has been improved the basic technologic elements of winter wheat growing, with making provision of local nitrogen fertilizing in doze N30 at the end stage of tillering and spraying the plants by solution that consists of insecticide Decis profi, fungicide Falcon and Carbamide (N30) during the grain forming that provide obtaining 6,0 tons per hectare and more II-III class grain quality, reduces the expenditure for 3,9-4,1% and increase profitability for 3,1-4,6% compared with recommended technology.
