The object of research: processes of conducting leasing transactions by agrarian enterprises, leasing companies, producers of agricultural machinery and equipment of Ukraine. The purpose of research: aim of the thesis is to develop theoretical and methodological fundamentals and practical recommendations as to technical security of agricultural enterprises by means of leasing. Methods: dialectic, historical, systematic, comparison, analysis and synthesis, induction, deduction, economic and mathematic, correlation and regression, extra polar, graphic, sociological, economic and statistic. Theoretical and practical results: theoretical and practical basis is made by fundamentals of economic theory as well as by systematic and dialectic approach as to study of economic processes and phenomena, which have appeared in the system of leasing, scientific works, legislative and other normative acts of Ukraine on the point of leasing in technical security of agricultural enterprises. Practical importance of thereceived results is in the fact that they create ground for investigation and practical solving of the problem of modernization of material and technical basis of agrarian enterprises. Research novelty: for the first time the author grounds and makes groups of the indicators of leasing, that deal with technical security of agrarian enterprises taking into account main tendencies, peculiarities, processes and phenomena; principal methodological approaches as to forecasting are developed and forecast of different variants of supply amounts of machinery to agrarian enterprises in form of leasing by the year 2015 is made; system of state regulation of leasing activity is proposed; explanation of social and eco-nomical essence of leasing, which in contrast to the existing definitions, fully characterizes leasing as an indicator of social relations, is improved; methodological approaches as to study of leasing are specified, by means of adding a logical scheme (worked out by the author) of conducting main stages and components of research; main directions of improvement of the role of leasing in technical security of agricultural enterprises are grounded. Degree of introduction: results of the research are accepted by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of Ukraine, National joint stock company “Ukragrolizyng”, Bila Cerkva Local State Administration, Ivankiv Local State Administration, Kyiv Regional Agrarian Extension Service for further application and they are used in the educational process of Bila Cerkva State Agrarian University. Efficiency: results of the research allow improving technical security of agricultural enterprises by means of leasing.
