The thesis deals with the investigation the art photography in a context of culture fo the exposure of main tendencies of landscape genre in the art photography of Kharkiv of the last third of XX century as the part of regional culture. The result of the complex comparative analysis of the art photography and art in the cultural-historical dynamics the concept of the evolution of the art photography of Kharkiv in landscape genre in a mutual correlations with a wide context of contemporary art scene; new names of artists and art photographers are put into circulation and the significance of art photography in the contemporary Ukraine art scene is determined; branch – theory and history of culture.
