The object is functioning of logistical systems with sea port; the aim is the increasing of port activity effectiveness by formation of theoretical foundations and practical recommendations on optimization of relations of sea port with other participants of logistical systems of production and supply; the methods are theory of systems and system analyses, transport systems and logistics, mathematical modelling and mathematical analyses; the new approach lies in determination of theoretical foundations of effective activity of sea port in logistical systems; the results are expedient of vertical integration of sea port with other participants of logistical chain, optimal system of discount from sea port tariffs, equilibriums and optimums in system of competitive sea ports; the application is in State department of sea and river transport of Ukraine, sea port Illychivsk; the field is sea transport
