Essay

New approaches have been proposed for solving an actual hygienic problem of professional psychophysiological selection and professional orientation of military physicians in conditions of reforms undertaken in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A psychogram has been developed and integral factors have been determined which characterize professionally important qualities of military physicians of various specialties. The peculiarities in the structure of interrelations of psychophysiological and psychological functions have been defined for providing a successful activity of a military physician. Basing on the studies of professionally-important psychophysiological and personal qualities a special scale has been developed as well as equations and algorithm of its using for occupational selection and professional orientation of future military physicians to surgical and therapeutical specialization.
