Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to studying of the dialogue religious and philosophical aspects based on M. Buber's and M. Bakhtin's works. The origin of the notion "dialogue" and the transformation of its semantics, its correlation with the notions "relations" and "communication" has been studied. The dialogue methodological foundations within the West-European philosophical tradition from Antiquity to the beginning of XX century have been examined. The author has argued that by the end of XIX - the beginnings of XX century the concept "dialogue" acted as a literary genre and had an informative character. It has been shown that only in the beginning of XX century the theory of dialogue started to be developed. The concept of "dialogue" is considered to be the fundamental principle of the relation of a person with other people, the world and God. It has been given reason that the dialogical principle has achieved the entire development in M. Buber's and M. Bakhtin's works. It has been shown that characteristic feature of "religious" dialogue is its vertical cutoff and a presence of the Third ontological coordinate in dialogue, which is God. "Philosophical" dialogue occurs at linear level in sphere of inter-personal relations. It has been accentuated that initial principles of dialogue are recognition of equality and existence of other people; a person's openness to dialogue; a birth of new sense in positions of dialogue subjects. Value of dialogue for inter-religious sphere has been analyzed, and proved that "inter-religious dialogue" occurs at a formal level.
