Shkyratenko E. Legal bases of the foreign-policy activity of Ukrainian SSR as member of United Nations (40 - the beginning of the 60-th ХХ century).

On the basis of the study of normative-lawful sources, archive documents and materials the dissertator examines the prehistory of the appearance of Ukrainian SSR in the international arena in the beginning of the ХХ century. The thesis contains the com-plex historical and lawful analysis of the legal bases of the activity of Ukrainian SSR as the subject of the international relations within the period from the acquisition of the limited sovereignty in the USSR in connection with constitutional changes 1944 and caused these by its adoption in the United Nations as state-founder and to the beginning of the 60-th, when the political situation in the world, which beginning from the second-half of the 40-th it was characterized by the permanent state of the "Cold War" between the basic antagonists in the international arena, was replaced to the course of the inter-national discharging. The author has given the judicial analysis of reports for the regula-tion of the activity of the representation of Ukrainian SSR in the principal organs and the specialized agencies of United Nations, it is examined basic directions and historical and legal consequences of this activity, in particular participation in the preparation of international contracts and agreements, resolutions of the General Assembly of UN and the changes for them, participation in the work of international assemblies, sessions, conferences, conferences, etc.
