Theoretical and practical aspects of peculiarities of state’s civil and legal position as a subject of civil legal relations are viewed in this thesis. The main attention of the work is paid to find out the legal nature of a treasury, to deter-mine its notion, to define the origin and formation of treasury institute at differ-ent historical stages and to find out peculiarities of treasury’s participation in civil legal relations concerning property.
