Frantsuz-Yakovets T. The maintenance of constitutional and legal status of human and citizen

The dissertation is devoted to the analysis of maintenance of the constitutional and legal status of the man and citizen in Ukraine. The work offers the characteristic of basic institutes and elements of constitutional and legal status, pays special attention to the human rights, duties of the citizens, institute of citizenship, guarantees of constitutional and legal status of the person. The major accent of the dissertation is made on problems, which arise in connection with maintenance of the constitutional status of the person while functioning state bodies of various branches of authority and nongovernmental organizations, which are called to promote realization and maintenance of human rights. These questions are examined by the author on the basis of the all-round analysis of the constitution and constitutional legislation of Ukraine from the point of view of an embodiment of principles of a priority of the rights of the man, supremacy of the constitution, recognition of the human rights as a chief public value. The author presents and proves the definition of constitutional status, formulates the system of its principles, proposes the recommendations directed on maintenance of constitutional status of the man and citizen in Ukraine.
