Kolodrubska O. Principles of forming of architecturally-planning decisions of rural farmstead habitation of Western Podilya.

Native and foreign experience in planning and building of rural farmstead habitation is analysed in the dissertation. The Considered factors influence on forming of farmstead dwelling building. For the first time influence of festively-ceremonial factors on the planning structure of farmstead and a house is defined. Historikal conformities to the law and traditions of arranging of habitation in the villages of Western Podilya are found out and expedience and directions of using them in modern building practice are identified. Modern principles of development of architecturally-planning decisions are determined. The classification of a farmstead is improved. New functional areas of a farmstead and a house are determined. Typologi of farmsteads and houses depending on labour activity is developed. Recommended minimum width of a farmstead is 28-30m. The ways of solving to the housing problem in the villages of Western Podilya are suggested.
