Tarapatova N. University organization in the context of the transformation processes

The dissertation explores university as a social organization in the context of the actual transformation processes, the university organization functioning's particularities and its specificity comparing to other social organizations. University organization's ability to change and its ability to assimilate the innovations are investigated. Worldwide trends of the university organizations' development in the context of global changes of different countries' educational policies are considered. The impact of the commercialization of educational area on the university organizations' activities and their development prospects is analyzed. The peculiarity of redefinition of the universities' place and their role in educational systems of different countries as well as a specificity of their interaction with a society are also described.
