Tomyn S. Basic stages of the work with the sources of personality information in the process of crime exposure and investigation.

The research contains a series of theoretical and practical issues relevant to the work with the sources of personality information in the process of crimes exposure and investigation. The current legislation of Ukraine concerning the notion of proofs, their sources and the process of proving is analysed; and the regulations of criminalistics, criminalistic cybernetics and juridical psychology in view of the reflection and keeping information in the person's mind and its reproduction. The author concentrates on the notion of the sources of personality information and its establishment and the problems of obtaining the facts significant for the crimes exposure and investigation, their expertise and estimation. In opinion of the author it is necessary to include the paragraph «The sources of criminalistics information» to the thematic plan of the course «Criminalistics». There are would be explored such their variety, as the sources of personality information and specific of work with them on some stages, in this paragraph. The author makes the proposals concerning the changes to the current legislation in order to improve at certain stages the work with the sources of personality information. The thesis results enrich theoretical bases of criminalistics science, they can be applied for improving the current legislation and for crimes exposure and investigation in the practical activities of criminalists."
