The thesis deals with a complex research of external factors upon conflict management in Transniestriа region. The motives and evolution are established. Interests and policy of Russia, Ukraine, Romania, US, EU and the OSCE are analyzed, activity of mediators is established. The thesis defines current models of conflict resolution, own concept is offered. Also recommendations are made with respect to Ukraine’s foreign policy strategy.
