Essay

The thesis focuses on empathic factors of nurses' professional adaptation during all stages of their professional development. It has been revealed that empathy in context of nurse's communicative-deontological competence can be treated as functionally actual personal trait. The author argues that empathy as a regulator of professional adaptation is observed in the nurse's empathic attitude through requirements of professional activity by means of communicative-deontological skills. Empirical research of the empathic attitude of adaptable and non-adaptable nurses during all stages of their professional development allows drawing its relation to the logic of forming communicative-deontological skills. Empathic attitude of adaptable nurses has been proved to determine gradual forming of characteristics of psychological comforts whereas empathic attitude of non-adaptable nurses causes nervous and psychic tensions, emotional burning out/
