Pokhylo I. The effectiveness as a constituent of political leader's activity.

The dissertation for Ph.D. in Political Sciences, speciality 23.00.02 - Political Institutes and Processes. - Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University. - Kyiv, 2007. The analysis of the principal factors of effectiveness of political leader's activity, in particular in Ukrainian society being on the way to democratization, is provided in the dissertation. Theoretical and methodological aspects of political leader's activity studies are analysed. Author's approach to political leader's activity study is proposed. It defines the effectiveness as the principal estimative category of such activity. It is proved that the main condition of effectiveness of political leader's activity is optimal decision he takes. Mechanism and specificity of decision making are analysed. Objective and subjective factors of effectiveness of political leader's activity are analysed. Specificity of political leader's activity in Ukraine is analysed; the ways of its effectiveness enhancement are proposed.
