Dissertation is about sound score and image structure of Ukrainian feature film in the second half 20th century. Complex, system research of the sound conception of a film as one of the main components of its image structure is carried out. To achieve this purpose, subtractive, additive and integrative methods of the analysis of structure of the synthesized imagery, transferred in a cinematology from the theory of light and technology of synthesis of a sound for the art analysis, have been developed and applied. The image structure of film is considered as complex and multilayered system with associative connections inside and between its components. Thus, the complete analysis has allowed to allocate an artistic and aesthetic originality of each of the three imagery synthesis models. In the dissertation was maked more precise and classified sounddirector’s terminology. The basic results of work activate researches in the "sound imagery" sphere of the theory of arts, in teaching cinematographic subjects at Institution of higher education.
