The object of the study: Minaev’s parody creation in all its gender and genre varieties; goal – to make a complete description of Minaev’s parodies in unity of its content and form, to reveal ideological and artistic peculiarities of writer’s parody creation; methods – social-genetic, comparative-historical, typological; novelty – purposive and system study of Minaev’s parody creation in tight connection with parody creation of his predecessors and contemporaries, tracing of evolution of its literary and esthetic views, determination of peculiarities of his artistic method as parodist, 36 Minaev’s parodies were analyzed for the first time; results – usage of dissertation materials by Russian literature historians, teachers of philological faculties in the course of the history of the Russian literature of the XIX century and in special courses and seminars; speciality – Russian literature
