Essay

Complex cliniconeurological, instrumental and laboratory investigation of 137 patients with ischemic strokes reveal that cardioembolic strokes are characterized by the decline of cerebral blood flow, by growth of circulatory resistance, acceleration of all stages of coagulation, saving of level of physiology anticoagulant within the limits of indexes of healthy persons, high activity of the system of fibrinolysis and activating of the oxidant system. Influence of complex medical treatment with application of diltiazem and hirudotherapy on cerebral hemodynamic is explored at cardioembolic strokes. The investigations reveal the positive influence application of hirudotherapy under the control activated partial tromboplastin time on the state of the coagulation, fibrinolysis and oxidant stress.
