Moroz N. The formation of social-cultural competence as a part of professional training of the cadets of higher military educational stablishments

The dissertation presents theoretical substantiation and experimental approbation of the formation of social-cultural competence of future officers in the process of professional training in higher military educational establishment on the basis of systematic and communicative way of teaching. In result of research the structure of social-cultural competence of future officer is defined, that consists of unity of three components and corresponding to area knowledge competence, lingua area knowledge competence and sociolinguistic competence. The levels, criteria and parameters of shaping social-cultural competence are worked out as well as the complex of methods, means and ways of its formation. The model of social-cultural competence formation has been created. The effectiveness of the methodology has been substantiated theoretically and experimentally verified. The pedagogical conditions that influence the success of the process of formation of social-cultural competence of the cadets of higher military educational stablishments according to the way they study foreign language have been defined. It has been experimentally proved that these special conditions work. The main results of the research were practically applied in the process of teaching cadets at higher military educational establishments.
